Can you say Workaholic?

So I love my job. I really do! I've worked there like....2 weeks now? I think? And I absolutely love it. And I'm working a LOT! At least everyday. It's fun! It gives me something to do instead of being bored, which is great. And I make bank! lol, at least for me! It really is great.

I actually get to go shopping this weekend! I am SO excited. Me and Becca Cochran are going to Zona Rosa on saturday. I'm SUPER excited. I haven't gotten to go shopping in foreverrrr. It should be fun.

I also think I'm going to get my hair cut, and I'm thinking about letting Jerry's wife, Angie do it. I haven't decided for sure yet. We will see. I need to have her wax my eyebrows too. They're getting massive. lol. Seriously! Anyway, I thought I would just update this a little bit. I gotta go get ready for work now! =]

A little bit of Lately.

So I guess I should update this! I got the job at Olive Garden! I start training Monday, and work everyday until Friday! I'm so excited. =] I can't wait! I've been through orientation, and that went really well. I like all the people I work with who I have met so far. They seem really nice!

So, this week, I learned that people change. And not always for the better. But there's really no way you can change it! Even if you hurts you, you can't change it. People are independent. You are responsible for yourself, and no one else. Even if you wish people would take your advice, it doesn't always happen. This is why you just have to go with the flow. I think I have decided to no longer have expectations. Because when you have expectations of people, you get disappointed when you realize those expectations were too high. People disappoint you. It happens. It's a part of life. I now realize that. It's sad to have to realize something like this. Sometimes people have so much potential, and they just don't know it. I am glad I have had this epiphany though. It is going to save me so much trouble throughout the rest of my life. Most likely, some hurt too. Am I being too cynical? If I am, I almost don't care. I would rather be this way and avoid hurt, than the other option.

On a lighter note, today is my mom's b-day party! I'm excited, to say the least! I haven't seen much of the family since I've been back from Utah, so this should be fun! My mom is 54. It's caraaaaazy! She still looks 29. =] Love you Ma!

Job Interview!!!

Guess what, guess what, guess what, GUESS WHAT!!!!!!

I have a job interview tomorrow! I am SOOO excited! It's at Olive Garden as a server. I am so pumped! Ahhhh I'm so ready to start working again. I've gone like 2 weeks without working and I feel lazy. lol

So today I went with Jons mom to go pick him up at camp. It was fun! His mom's really nice. Haha we tried to pull a prank on him, and we told him I had woken up late, and wasn't coming. Then he got like all down, and sad sounding. So we told him after awhile. He sounded major mad at me. lol. It was funny though!

I'm really tired. =/ I had to get up at like 5:20 this morning. I should probably go take a nap, but I don't feel like moving. Haha.

So last night I stayed the night at Anie and Will's house. It was fun! Lauren was over when I got there, so we showed her how to make a blog. She now has one! That reminds me, I need to figure out how to add people or whatever. And then this morning Anie got out of bed CrAzY early and made me eggs and toast. Yum! Best breakfast I have had in awhile. Thanks again Britt! =]

Anyway, I'm going to go take a nap! Like I said, I'm exhausted!

Blogging?

Hey! My names Emily Dyer. I can't believe I'm blogging. lol. We will see how this goes! I saw that my brother Will started blogging, since his wife Anie does, so I decided to do so too. I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to write. Well, I am looking for a job! If anyone hears of any place that's hiring that I would be interested in working, let me know! I've called around a few places and am planning on putting applications into Houlihan's and La Dolce Vita up in St. Joe. Those are restaurants. I'm hoping to find a job as a server, or a hostess. Wish me luck! =]
